Getting a High End Bass...can't decide which.

I've definitely thoguht about a Lull...never tried one. The 35" scalle fivers scare me though, I've had some in the past and never really liked the feel. I know they make 34" now but I haven't heard much about how they sound B-string wise. anyone know?
