Getting into a Fretless for the 1st time.

Hi Fenderone :)

You are member since 2008, so I think you play already play bass?

Thoughts on a decent starter fretless?

Having a good left hand technic is very important to get your intonation right.

Choose a bass with a neck that is comfortable to you!

Check every bass that you can try in your local shops.

When they don 't have the fretless version on stock, try the fretted version to find out if you like the neck!

IME you can easier adjust your technic on a neck that you don 't have to fight.

Squire Jazz?

Here is a thread about one that could be interesting for you.
