getting my first ampeg 810.

That's a piece of work! But once you get it ready to go you're going to have a SICK cab on your hands. The Ampeg 810 is next on my G.A.S. list.

awesome cab man, I like 'em ruff. it makes it that much sweeter when they get straightened out. people pass up a lot of good deals because of the ruff factor...

I'm tellin ya man, give the Duratex stuff a look. Do a search and check out the thread where I just re finished my cab. Made it look brand new.

How well does this stuff compare to say a roll-on bed liner? I really thinking im gonna do one or the other.

If I'm not mistaken, many professional cabinet manufacturers use Duratex for their cabinets. I found it extremely easy to apply.

Working on it in my spare time it took roughly 3 days. If you have the time, you literally could do it in a day. It's super easy. I'll say this though. Spend the time on the prep of the cab, and it Will look brand new.

On another note, the cab looks great. Almost makes me wanna re do mine this weekend...
