Getting the most out of a lick sharing a concept

I've only recently started getting into Janeks work especially in terms of education and getting the most out of licks. I found a mess of old issues of the British "Bass Guitar" magazines with his columns that I've been working through and thought I'd share an idea I stumbled across.

In one of the columns there is a Miles Davis inspired lick over a ii-V-I progression in F. I kept the lick the same in terms of Rhythm and only changed the Bb to B natural and played the same lick over a ii-V-I in C. the next logical step for me is to raise the F to F# and play it over a ii-V-I in G etc.

I figured this was a cool idea and Janek talks about sharing info in his columns and videos so I figured I'd share it here.

C/S,
Rev J
