I think ghost/alien sightings are merely waking dreams. There's a reason that all of these "sightings" happen at night.

I can remember in the middle of a bright Sunny day - that I was reading the book "The Occult" by Colin Wilson and it got to the part where he was talking about Aleister Crowley (famous British wizard) and how he was the last person to be buried in Britain under the Satanic rites - and I realised that as Wilson described this - I could actually see his place of burial from the window I was sitting in - at that moment I heard an unearthly scream and a sort of vision of the grave!
Then I just went back to reading the book...![]()
And the book would of been quickly disposed of!
I see Grateful Dead people.

The Case Of The Trans-Dimensional Salami: one Christmas when I was a kid we were unwrapping our presents, among which was a big smoked wurst from our relatives in Denmark, about 2" thick and a foot and a half long. As my dad was tearing off the paper it slipped out, fell to the floor and rolled under the living room couch. We all saw it happen, but... it was never found again. My mom loved to recall that as one of the most mysterious things she ever experienced. True story, if a bit prosaic.
How can you be terrified of something you don't believe exists?

I am creeped out by the thought that the subject of Maki's avatar might exist in real life - although logically I know it is impossible!![]()
