GHS Brite Flats

Got a question about these strings. I know they're a round that's been made smooth. What I want to know is do they wear at the speed of rounds and need replacement regularly as they do? Or are they more like flats in that you can use them as long as you feel the need to? Or somewhere in between?

I found that they went a little too dull and thuddy rather quickly. Probably way faster than your typical rounds. Their character is that of a flat string not a round wound. They are a nice string though. Just depends on what sound you are going for. I have kept them and use them once in awhile for certain things.
My favorite are the Pressurewounds. They may lose a little bit after a week or so but sound great for 6 months or more depending on your acidity and sweat and preference.

I'm currently auditioning a set of Fender 9050CL Flats. So far I really like them. A lot. They may knock the pressurewounds off their pedestal.

Dan, are the new Fenders smooth in your opinion?? ... how about if you had to verbalize the difference in feel and sound between your Fenders and the GHS pressurewounds you usually use?? .. also, it is my understanding that the Bright Flats in question are a ground round, so a bit rougher than the pressurewounds? thanks

I'll try and answer these:
The Fenders are really smooth to the touch.(I assume that is what you mean.)
The Pressurewounds are a smoother feeling roundwound. Great under your finger (no string noise) while still retaining much of the roundwound sound.

The Brite Flats are smoother like a regular flat.
