Hello!

I am an electric player... But purchased a nice used NS Designs CR4 a couple of years back...I really like it and it sounds good....

I have a blast every time I play it....

Was thinking of changing the strings....not unhappy with the stock strings by any means.... But... Since I'm so new to the EUB... I Don't know if I may be missing something even "better"

Has anyone tried these?

If so.... What are your impressions?

How do they compare to the stock strings?

Thank you for your time!!!

Peace

Doug

I use them and really like them, but "better" depends on what sound you're searching for.
If you want a sound closer to an acoustic bass, NS Traditionals or Spiros both have a reputation of being good in that direction.
Personally, I'm plotting to replace my Crossovers with NS Modern strings, because a more electric/hybrid sound is actually what I want.
