GHS short scale bright nickels

I have three broncos one is currently being "re imagined" two are strung with labella dtf but the third which will build on a tele guitar body will be rounds wounds. I'm thinking ghs bright nickels since they are a little closer in tension to labella flats .(don't like floppy strings) and Balanced nickels seem like a great choice.
what do you think? I want this bass to have nice roundwound sound to it vs the flats..

GHS Balanced Nickles are great strings. They're quite dark for rounds after the initial break-in but they do retain a round wound sound, and the tension isn't floppy in the slightest on my Mikro. They transformed the bass. It no longer feels like a toy.

And they truly are very well balanced in both timbre and tension.

GHS Balanced Nickels are God's gift to short scale bass players. As the name sets forth, they are balanced in both tension and tone string-to-string and up the neck. They have enough tension to not be floppy. They have a big, round tone. They are reasonably priced and last a long, long time. GHS Balanced Nickels are a pure nickel roundwound on a round core, and as such they're not the brightest. GHS does not offer "bright nickels" as such.

Overall warmer and smoother with deep focused lows and a clear but non-zingy top end. Not quite as stiff due to the round core and not as smooth in texture.

This is all really good info everyone thank you. I just grabbed a set on sale on amazon for 43% off. Funny the price went right back up after I placed my order.
The person using this bass is used to the labella dtf tensions but wants some round wound sound but hates floppy rounds. As far feel goes I will likely give the strings what I can the "treatment". I secure the strings under a bit of tension on a jig and lightly hand sand them with 2000-2500 grit wet sand paper and then 0000 grade steel wool. Afterwords soaked in denatured alcohol to removed any particles and high pressure air cleaned etc. Gives strings a softer burnished broken in feel.Done this a few times now.
