GHS Strings!

Ooof - I just realized that I've been violating GHS's MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy on all of the Precision flats sets. Sorry, but I had to adjust all of those prices upwards to the minimum prices of $43.99 (4-string) and $52.99 (5-string).
Those strings have been flying out of here, and now I understand why that was happening. Hopefully this adjustment doesn't kill my Precision sales entirely.
Well, my GHS sales went off a cliff when I moved my prices for Precision flats up to where they're supposed to be ($43.99 for 4-string sets). There are a couple stores on Reverb selling at $36.99. I mentioned this to GHS and basically said you can either get those stores to stop doing that or I'm going to have no choice but match their prices. I got no response from GHS, so I just dropped my prices back down.
Look at me flouting the rules! Hahaha. Well, rules without consequences are merely suggestions.
Precision flats were flying out of here before I messed with my prices, hopefully those sales start coming back!

I just realized that I've been a bit high with my GHS Bass Boomers pricing. I was at $25.99 for 4-string sets, but I'm seeing other dealers sell them for as low as $22.99. I've adjusted my pricing down to 22.99 to be price competitive now.

GHS just announced a price increase that will go into effect on August 1.
5% across the board is what they said.
I'll leave my GHS strings at the current prices until roughly 5PM EST on July 31, so get 'em at those prices while you can!

GHS has announced a slight price increase that will take effect on 3/24/25. They say it's approximately 6% across the board, and the prices on my website will reflect that increase on 3/24/25.

GHS just announced a new version of their classic Bass Boomers strings! The new version will come with a SolidWound end instead of the traditional silkwound end. No more fuzzy silk on your headstock! LOL And they're slightly less expensive to boot.
The original Bass Boomers will continue to be available; this is an addition to the product line rather than a substitution.
The traditional Bass Boomers are numbered like L3045, and the new SolidWound Bass Boomers are numbered like L4045. There are only 4 SKU's of the SolidWound type available at the moment:
L4045 (40-95)
ML4045 (45-100)
M4045 (45-105)
5M-4045 (45-130)

Big GHS guitar strings here...all and I mean ALL my guitars have the GHS Boomers GB LXL 10-38 on, no matter if it's a Parker Fly, Fender Strat etc. the for last 15 years or so...
I love the sound and how balanced they are, and they last for ever!
I always stash at least a dozen of these just in case.

And for future reference, here's a link to that set on my website that I just made active. I'll get some of these on order sometime in the next month or so.
Oh, also I have only good words to say about their customer support. I order these by the dozen from different shops in the EU (I live in Greece btw). So, I had bough another dozen and it turns out almost all the plain strings were kinda corroded (black marks on the strings etc).
So, I just sent an email to the GHS, and honestly I didn't expect anything from them, I mean, we are talking about guitar strings, right? Well, they asked for pics which I sent to them and lo and behold, they sent me a dozen sets, free of charge!
Mind these had the old packaging style, the current is PERFECT, each string is sealed individualy.
@RocketMusic I am pretty sure that very few guitar players use the 10-38 gauge so I wouldn't order too many of them If I were you. The 10-46 and 9-42 are the mainstream gauges...

@RocketMusic Yeah! that lines up with my experience too. GHS customer support has always been solid whenever I dealt with them.
Also agree on the gauges 10-46 and 9-42 are definitely the bread and butter sets for most guitar players. The 10-38 crowd seems pretty niche these days.

I don't move much in the way of guitar strings. Not by choice, that's just the way it is currently.
I'm curious if folks usually buy guitar strings like bass strings where 1 set per order is most common? Or are guitar strings more of a bulk purchase with multiple individual sets or the multi-packs that are sometimes available? GHS does have some multi-packs available, but I haven't gone down that road yet.
