They're around, not in the same numbers that's for sure. But just because there's a million dripped ink sketches of DON QUIXOTE in cheap hotels around the world doesn't diminish Picasso.
Doug White, Jimmy Halperin, Dave Franck, Bob Kindred, Chris Garone; they're around. It's just not the current "flavor", especially with younger players. Have you played with Loren Stillman? I haven't heard him, just heard good things about his playing.
