How is the neck, any twists or warps? That was the ONE thing I looked at when getting mine...

Neck is straight(slight gap on the E side of things, my Nash is that way too.). I have the OHSC as well...funny enough it's in better condition than the bass. I put Cobalts on it. This baby sings

Looks like it was left in water on the bottom. That is why the paint is the way that it is and the body separated.....Bet it sounds great though!!!!

Yeah it's separated a bit, but it's dried out and sounds great. The cobalts were a vast improvement over the flats on it. It's a player.

i had a Grabber way back in 77 showing my age. only kept it for less than a year. it had a good sound for the country i was playing. traded it in on at that time the new peavey P40 bass.

both were and are still pretty good basses....for the money..
wish i still had em.

Can anyone help me date this ripper. The SN# is 187215. Im also not sure about the 3 way toggle. I thought these had the 4 way selector. I believe it's a '73

So I dig a pick out and HOLY CRAP! does this thing RINGGGG. Lovin it. Can't recommend Cobalts enough...open this puppy up quite nice.

Looks like a 73 based on the body shape....have you checked Fly Guitars?

The toggle is a user mod. The S/Ns are not very helpful for dating the Gibson Gs.
