LOL! "Poorly refinished state" is Tim's very polite way of saying I'd butchered my baby 20 years ago and stuck it in a case after a few years and never looked at it again. Single ply piece of plastic, painted black, with a shape that looked like it came off some Gene Simmons bass reject as a pickguard, over an ugly brown stain capped by the worst orange-peel urethane finish you've ever seen. Tim worked miracles.
