Finding a gig bag / some sort of carrying case for this cab is becoming a bit more difficult than I imagined.. any suggestions or makeshift ideas I can try?

You might try one of the custom cover makers like Studio Slips (I recommend them) or Tuki (great reputation as well) and see what they could do for you.

I Have had great luck with Tuki they are well made good padding and won't Break the Bank. Never Dealt with Studio slips so can't Speak to that.
