I bought a Tribal Planet at Christmas, and it's looking scruffy already.
Although the padding is good, the outer fabric has bad abrasion resistance. All the red stuff on the pockets, and piped around the edges, frays when you slide it into a car boot (trunk). The Warwick I had before had less padding, but looked good even after three years.

Chef...

Just to let you know, the Incase bag is really more case than bag, but is still light weight. I hear ya about the cost but I understoood you to say that you did not want to carry your expensive toys in a bag...I hear ya on that 1....I currently have a Sadowsky NYC (funny how we have to add NYC or Metro now, eh?) Vintage 4 and an old Warwick SS2 (got a bunch more like you at the ready including a cherry '62 Jazz and a '67 Jazz that are just part of my 3 year old's college fund at the moment now that I got the Sadowsky)in my Dub bag and Can not recommend the Dub bag enough if you ever need to carry more than 1 instrument around....best $199 I've ever spent on a case of any kind.......

Peace,

T

I decided not to spend the $$$'s on the Incase. I took a chance on the Gator GL Lite bass case and I've got to tell you I'm impressed. It's very close to my Roscoe Soft Cases and at $55.00 from 123music.com you can't beat it! Much more protection than a gig bag and extremely light. A perfect fit for the Gecko I just put together. You can get the spec's on the case from Gator's web site.
