Dam, I'm gonna have to try taking my shirt off when playing next time. First thing I will do is lock the doors so people cant run.; )

Looks like a fun gig and I love the slow groove on your single. Nice work!
All the doors were wide open and I always throw the shirt off, stage blood or not. I like to have my shirt not be drenched in sweat after we play. Plus for some reason a fat dude taking his shirt off at a metal show gets a louder pop than Hulk Hogan making a surprise entrance at Wrestlemania.

It's a lot of fun, plus the "heavier" the music is the more the bass plays a roll in making the band sound full. The guys playing as fast as they can don't really make much of a difference, but just like any other style once you're locked in with a good drummer and are laying down the groove it becomes an entity that's completely it's own monster. I've been in blues acts and classic rock cover bands, but metal is just a different energy that gives back as much as you're willing to put in. Thanks for checking the gig report out, this is my first of what I hope to he many to come.

It's a nice feeling having the knowledge and funding I wish I'd have had when I started out back 20 years ago. It's even an even nicer feeling getting to enjoy all the work coming to fruition and not partying it all away like I would have done those said 20 years ago hahaha.
yeah I was just talking to a friend last night about the old fantasy of being in a touring band. not being a star.....just making a living. I could do it now with my 52 year old brain....in my 20s the wheels would have come off really quick

Thank you!! We put a lot of work into the recording. Next time we may actually step into the studio. This time around we recorded everything in our practice space and our rhythm guitarist mixed and mastered the EP. And no way that's not too old school at all! I take it as a HUGE compliment to hear that we rock!!

I mean, my full time job is as a strip club DJ so I'm already living the dream by getting paid play music every night, albeit other people's music I make my living through music all the same. I can say though we did ridiculously well financially off of this one gig and the wife said she supports us taking it as far as we can so here we are haha!
