Gig Report: Gravevoid EP Release Show 11-06-21

Alright friends here goes my first gig report.. A few weekends ago my band Gravevoid released our first EP Fetid Corpse and I booked/promoted a show for said release. There's really nothing fancy here, just some shots of us getting things set up and some from the set. I'll also post a video that a friend of ours got of our single "Sacrificial Menstrual Blood". I hope you all enjoy taking a look.

I like your blood face paint the best. The other dudes just look like they poured it on haha
I have a question...that style of writing the band names, like the band on the bottom left of the flyer: is that meant to be read, or do they figure their 3 fans already know they're playing, so who's gonna read it anyway? That's a little bit of a joke. But still I see it a lot, and I have no idea how it works.
Also I like the song!
Also, what happened to your pic? It looks like it kept slipping, and about 1:20 you ditch it and start playing fingerstyle! Good job on doing both. Bass sounds good, too

Honestly it's just the style, extreme metal bands love illegible logos. The band is called Corpse Thrower, killer bands, even nicer guys. The logo thing has always perplexed me as well. As for the pick, it wasn't slipping, I have carpal tunnel syndrome and some days are better than others. I couldn't feel my fingers in either hand, normally I'm using the pick, but once the feeling leaves I can't keep a grip so I'll switch it up and struggle through with my fingers until the feeling returns.

Hahahaha thanks!! I got a little bit of something all over me. Probably not doing the blood again. I couldn't open my eyes for the first half of our set!

Looks like a good time! I'll check out the video later when I can let my stereo eat. I don't think phone speakers would do you justice.

Hahaha I would love it if Taylor Swift noticed me :cool: but either way we had a blast, we just formed in April and we're rolling the ball as hard as we can. Already have new merch being printed up and a couple tours pending for next year!
