Give me your thoughts

I kept passing on buying any new combo cause they were, I felt, very over priced, not a good sound, at all levels. I actually had been using this little 8" Gorilla amp that my nephew left at my house. I just used it under my PC to practice with MP3's. It has this crazy growl knob that distorts it horribly when cranked but it served its purpose for me and I could even play my 5ers thru it. Well one day the speaker crapped out. I went to a friends house and he had a Fender Rumble 100 that he posted for sale on CL. I said I was kinda looking for one now and his was less than a year old, I think he paid $349 new, I gave him $200.

It was def louder than what I needed under my PC station for rehearsing but I liked that I had more, clean volume. Late at nite, I run a Y line from amp to PC, bought some good headphones to plug into the amp. So I can rehearse late, hear my bass and the music from PC, works great. And if I want to hear the music from my PC louder than my PC speakers I can hear the music loud thru the amp. My stereo system is so old when I have a house party I just let the PC and Rumble play my music, sounds great. And though I said I would never gig it, I do this Sunday afternoon gig outdoors with a original alt-country group, acoustic guitar (amped), drums (uses hotsticks-quiet) and very low volume elec piano. The singer said just bring your smallest amp. I now use the Rumble at an outdoor gig with one of my 5 string basses, I never thought I would. Im happy with my Rumble, aint the best sounding amp but it works for more stuff than I imagined.
