My bass with an Audere and Nordstrands has a bit of noise. I think I probably have a cold solder joint or two to chase down though.

Giving up on my Jazz bass

Hey
It took a couple days of putting it off but I flipped the wires of the new Fralin today and the thing works like a charm! Also I ordered some sheilding tape to quiet the thing down a bit.
Now I just got to figure out the weird dead spot that I get while playing a B on the A string...
Everything else is just fine but that spot is in-operable...
It just rattles when I play it

It's a fretless.
So no fretbuzz here
and it does rattle to the point where the note is dead.
Maybe my termenology isn't quite on but I think you know what I mean...
anyway
I put the copper sheilding tape in the other day and besides giving myself the gnarliest papercut ever, it worked really great! I can't believe the difference. I'm gunna put some in my Warwick ASAP
