I Have a backline 600 and i've been wondering if i could use it as a preamp to a GK 700 or 1001rb or some kind of an Ampeg for a real hybrid sound. And if so how would i hook it up

Use the effects send on the BL600 to the effects return on the (then) poweramp of the 700RB II, 1001RB II or any amp (including PA power amps).
But that is not the meaning of hybrid BTW.

Are you sure your BL600 can't get you that signature RB growl? You do know that the classic GK growl comes from the amp hitting it's voltage rails when it's cranked up right? Have you tried turning the master volume control on your BL600 all the way up (assuming you have speakers that can handle the power)? Go on the normal channel, turn contour all the way down, turn your level up, reduce the boost but max out your master volume and see if you can't get that GnR grind.
A little side info; The BL600 uses the same power amp as the 400RB IV which was designed after the 300 watt amp design of the 800RB. Not an exact copy of the 800RB's power amp as that one is expensive to produce these days and has remained unchanged.
