Ok well i got this awesome head but when it is in my cab after i play a note its sounds like the overdrive is on its very faint i can only hear when im close anyone else have the same troubles

Take the head out of the cab, and place it on top.
That should sound better
my head is not in the cabinet
and all four work fine
i thinks its the cause i used may hartke head from my combo and it sounds fine

What bass are you using? What cab? Cab details? What is your exact setup (all cabs, amps, basses, effects, yadda yadda).
Is the overdrive channel on the amp turned on and turned down low by some chance?
Bad cables? Did you try different cables?
Are you using a speaker cable to connect the head to the cabinet?
Interference by a radio, tv, or cell phone?
Bad battery in your bass (if it's active)?
It'd help if you fill out your profile information with what equipment you are using too. It helps people know what you have when you are in a jam like this.
don't turn the boost above 12 o'clock. without better grammar on your part, that's all i can think to tell you.
What bass are you using? Dean Rhapsody What cab? fender bassman wedge Cab details? 410 What is your exact setup (all cabs, amps, basses, effects, yadda yadda). no effects just straight bass to head,head to cab

Are you using a speaker cable to connect the head to the cabinet? not at the moment

Bad battery in your bass (if it's active)? no
and as i said the hartke head doesn't make a sound like it
keep your boost below your master volume. also, make sure your channel volume isn't cranked. those gk backlines are set up oddly, and you have to really play with all the different volume knobs to get the sound clean.
