GK BL600 and Hartke 4x10XL?

I grabbed an opportunity to sell my farty Fender Bassman, and I need to throw together a new rig pretty quickly.

The BL600 is pretty minty, and the Hartke is spotless. I have the opportunity to grab a Hartke 1x15 at the same time, but I'm not sure I'll need it. I've owned an eighties-era 800RB, and I've always regretted ditching it, but I haven't played a GK since. I've seen great things in the forum, and I've read fdeck's excellent review, but I haven't found anything regarding this particular rig combination.

Mostly small to medium gigs and moderately loud practices for both a trip-hop band, where I don't need to cut through much, and a stoner band, but the guitarists are both under control. Advice?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I realize that I'd only be using about 150 watts of the head with this cab, but adding a 1x15 XL is not an option with my transportation. I love the Hartke punch, but should I be looking for something more fitting to the amp? I'm more sure about the head than I am about the cab, so I'm hoping you folks can give me some guidance. Thanks again.

P.P.S. I forgot about the MB500 I used for a week or so. I understand it's an almost identical pre-amp stage in the BL600 from forum research, so I'm basically sold on the amp, but a cab choice is still driving me nuts.

I played around on the bl 600 that a buddy of mine had and it wasn't bad for the price you can usually find them for. My biggest peeve on alot of their heads are the effects loop being on the front, but that us a small gripe.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm grabbing the head, but the cab to pair it with has me a bit stuck. I'm looking for fairly solid bottom with that crisp GK tone overall. I've read a bunch of forum stuff on it, but I'm not much closer than I was before finding the Hartke XLs. I also use a fretless a fair amount, and the mids I remember from the 800RB and from the MB500 I borrowed for a week were quite nice, so I'm pretty sure about the amp.

Any help would be appreciated.

I use a GK400rb with two Hartke 210XL's stacked vertical ... nice portable combination that I have been surprisingly happy with ... with that said, my 210's are sealed, and I think your 410 would have the two round ports ... I have liked every GK/Hartke set-up I have heard ... do a search on here for that BL600 head, a user named FDECK has done some serious testing on it which you may find helpful ...

Yep. Fdeck's review is what sold me on the amp, but after checking the specs on the Hartke site, I realized that the 4x10 won't fit in my 2-door Cavalier. I'm leaning toward a 1x12 now for practical reasons, and the Genz Benz seems like it would be a great fit while still retaining some significant bottom end.
