That amp has very minimal power, and can only handle a single 8 ohm cab. You'd have better results going used. A used GK Backline 600 goes for $200, will give you more power and is safe to 4 ohms which makes is far more useful. Your local Craigslist is a great place to look for a used cab. Peavey cabs usually pop up for a great price.

+1, pass on the entry level "packs", and buy good quality used gear. More for less.

It's no good, as the others have mentioned. Plenty out there that's quality at the same price.

At least get the backline 600 used, its a sturdy little head =)

As for cabs, I'd actually recommend some avatars. They are a little more pricey but are totally worth it in the longrun compared to those cruddy backline cabs
