Double Bass GK dead?

My little GK 200MB died durring a rehearsal today. I was playing and it just turned off. I bought it used about a year agao and it has worked 100% with no problems since. I tried a different power chord and it still will not turn on. What can I do? Does anyone know any GK repair places in Chicago?

could be a fuse? it might have a fuse inside. take it to a tech-you'll be glad in the long run. the gk website has a list of authorized service centers but a good tech can deal with it. the GK authorized centers are mostly needed for warranty stuff.

See if you can find Dan Elliot over on the Bass guitar amp page. He works for GK and could have some helpful suggetions.
