GK Legacy 1200

Looks like you would need two 4ohm cabs to get 1,200 Watts.

You won't get 1200 watts, you will get two cabs running at 600 each, and that is a LOT different than 1200 watts.

Still more power than I could ever use, but I get why the OP is upset. I also would suggest that the OP really needs to read ALL the specs from every source before unloading that much money on an amp.

It reads "TOTAL POWER 1200 WATTS" here... That's the amp's total output power with two 4ohm loads (cabs) connected... What am I missing?

That you can't get 1200 watts out of one output. There's a reason it is phrased as "total power", in that 600 + 600 = 1200, but each output won't go over 600 watts. There is no way to get 1200 watts to one cabinet out of this amp.

ETA: if you were to simply plug two 4 ohm cabs into Channel One, you would still only get 800 watts out of it, and probably a release of the Holy Magic Smoke shortly afterwards.

To all who stated “Isn’t 800W loud enough?”...I already own the mb800 fusion...just wanted to try something with a little more...

A little more what?

If you want to be louder, then stop thinking in watts and start thinking in decibels.

And the only part of your rig that makes deciBels are the cabinet(s), not the amp.

@Warpeg and @Jehos already tried to make this point.

Bare Horsepower...more wattage. I don’t play loud. Dynamics need Headroom and I like having clean headroom...my cabinet has a 1200w power rating so decibels aren’t an issue.
