GK Legacy 1200

Might I suggest to OP, get a GK 2001RB. You can bridge it for 1080W of power into 4 ohms.
I use mine with 412 NEO and the headroom and power are out of this world.

I'm disappointed to see that Legacy 1200 is just 2 x 600W without being able to bridge that power. There was no info about that when these were announced. Oh well, D class toys I suppose (I kid, I kid!)...

Curious to hear what you did, OP?
Did you keep the amp? Thoughts about it?

I understand the OP's want to match the cab with power, but. I play in several bands with my 1200 and its plenty loud enough for all of them and plenty of headroom with one 4ohm NEO410. For the difference of $150 US between the 800 and 1200 I would take the extra wattage at 2ohms if I needed it in the 1200. I remember when the loudest amp out there was 300 watts and we made it work between Marshalls and Mesa's (800RB) plugged into an Ampeg 810 which was rated 800w at 4ohms. Mismatch is gonna happen but - It's amazing what the tiniest tweak to EQ can do.
