That makes me feel better, thank youbackin82, if it makes you feel any better, I think SGC's situation is an anomaly, and I still have the mb212-ii at the top of my list.

You won't be disappointed, fantastic amp! That makes me feel better, thank you![]()
Oh, I know. I've been playing it for about a month now. I can't wait to try it out in a live setting. You won't be disappointed, fantastic amp!
I love mine.
And that's coming from a Traynor guy.
Harsh or not.....The very fact that a typo could cause me to go ampless for an extended period of time and have to resort to posting on TB and having to prove my honesty by posting pics of my receipts......No sorry.....To hell with that.....
It is a little worrisome that Bob (user rag) has not signed on since late May. He was here quite often in the past. I hope everything is okay with him.
someone already pointed out that the ''service'' centre probably does service on multiple brands under warranty. GK themselves did what was reasonable for supporting ''out of warranty'' gear. It's a bit tough on GK being tarred over the ''service'' centre dragging their feet. If you were in the same city as OP I would understand.Whether I believe that other companies are less likely to have this scenario happen, or not, is completely irrelevant to this discussion....I also have no need, or desire, to present evidence to you whatever my position may be....
This thread concerns GK and their service center...Not any other company....
Trying to put this as simply as I possibly can....I don't like the way that StudioGC has been treated by GK or the service center....
He's been made to wait for an extended period of time before any resolution to his problem has been addressed and even now he STILL doesn't have a working amp.....
He's been made to look like he's at fault for the problems he's faced and I have absolutely no intention of taking the chance of finding myself in a similar position to him.....
That's it.....
Breaking down is forgivable....Being treated badly after that isn't.....IF the unit was registered either online or with the warranty card after purchase G-K would have known the unit was sold as new on that date. Without that registration it was an out of warranty unit that like many, was never registered after sale. Very, very few manufacturers would respond any other way. You can count the others on one hand with fingers missing. No company has crystal balls to consult and G-K is one of the companies that will go the extra for out of warranty if treated respectfully. Enjoy whatever your chosen "brand" is and god help them if it breaks down.
As far as I can determine the only bad actor here is the repair shop, badly mis-named as Professional Technical Service. They don't seem very professional, obviously lacking technically, and service was not part of the equation at all or this post would have never existed.Breaking down is forgivable....Being treated badly after that isn't.....
So why are GK using them?.....As far as I can determine the only bad actor here is the repair shop, badly mis-named as Professional Technical Service. Who says they will continue to?So why are GK using them?.....
This could be the first time they've heard of issues with this repair center. So why are GK using them?.....
Find this unlikely....This could be the first time they've heard of issues with this repair center.
That's not for him to answer. You can ask Jason that question, he left his contact information. You've already expressed your displeasure with GK, and your feelings are your own. It's probably time for you to move on and start listening to other brands of amps.So why are GK using them?.....
I neither know nor care.....Won't be buying a Gk so it doesn't matter....Who says they will continue to?

I've done nothing but reply to questions or respond to posts with negative attitudes toward me for a little while now....That's not for him to answer. This thread keeps using poor 3rd party information to drag GK and other members through the mud. Let it go already.
