I'd really be ok with a "heavy" 1050...the 1001RBII weighs, what, 28-ish?
I'm fine with that; that's "actually light, for a heavyweight."

The MBF800 fills the lightweight niche, and if I remember right, the MB800 tested at dang near 1000 watts for BGM.............I'm old though, I might misremember that.

1001mk2 is like 23lbs? Less?

Yessir.
It's as heavy, but not as...overdone?...as the M9 can be.
I mean, I -always- ran with the compressor on, and the two lowest bands of graphic eq trimmed on the M9, trying to tighten that up.

It lines up with the kick drum and hammers.

How is the low end extension? Is it similar to an M9-ish
