chef.....considering weight is not an issue what do you like the tone of better....the 800fusion or the 550 fusion.

I am saving for one of the 2 cant decide which and going to make my 500fusion my backup.

I like that same tone you do richer classic rock not too dirty but a richer clean. that point right when its about to get a touch of dirty.

I've never played the big three space Fusion550; so, I can't comment.
I've talked to guys that own one, before I bought the MBF800...guys who, of course, didn't own the 800 cause it wasn't out yet...but, several of them thought:

"if the MBF800 has that same "big iron feel" of the MB800; I see no reason for you to really need a Fusion550."

I may yet try the Fusion550 anyway, cause I'm just like that.

Now; GK, having said that^^^^^^^^^^............................

Where's that Fusion1050 y'all showed some years ago????????????
I am remembering that right, aren't I?

I'd really be ok with a "heavy" 1050...the 1001RBII weighs, what, 28-ish?
I'm fine with that; that's "actually light, for a heavyweight."

The MBF800 fills the lightweight niche, and if I remember right, the MB800 tested at dang near 1000 watts for BGM.............I'm old though, I might misremember that.
