GK MB112 II issues?

I was looking at a new GK MB112 II & have read where some have had crackling/distortion issues

There are 4 different people with the same amp and same issue. Should I look for another brand?
Hartke KB12? I don't like Markbass, thoughts?

Don't know about that, I used mine happily for years until I traded with a friend, he still plays it regularly. Never had any issues.

I'd buy one if you could still get the powered extension cab. Doesn't make a lot of sense wihtout that option imo

Or even if they just removed that and put a passive speaker out.

GK has been known to make solid reliable gear but yes sometimes as with any company can have bad batch maybe based on a defective part they didn't have control over etc. and usually fix problem and take care of customers in need

I not sure what they mean about 'Digital' Amp and as someone mentioned you no longer can get powered ext cab [maybe used if you look]

Since you don't like Markbass for me I would checkout Darkglass DG112A it is a couple hundred more

If you gut is still uneasy about GK yes Hartke may be comparable as with Fender Rumble
