Ya gotta answer that one for yerself. For me, separates are a better option. For most guys on TB, separates are a better option. But so what? Get & use whatever suits you. It's your coin.

There ain't no 15 "sound." There ain't no 10 "sound." ... etc ... Fornicate that drivel .

There's only the tone of whatever specific driver(s) are employed & the box designed/engineered/constructed to house it/them.

Watcha ya gotta do is go listen to gear, if possible. Find something that's pleasing to your ears. Then buy/build enough of that product to cover your displacement needs. Oh, & be sure your amp'll support the total load, whatever it turns out to be.

I don't have assumptions I'm asking, I'm NEW to bass

If only I were rich I'd buy them all then experiment
