gk mb15 dilemma

Newbie here. I bought a brand new GK MB115 about 8 years ago. I'm not in a band, I don't tote this thing around, I simply play for my own enjoyment. Anyhoo, I suddenly need a new power supply (per the tech at the repair place.) $330.00 for the repair. I paid $400 back in the day for the new amp. Something about 3rd party parts or something... I'm looking for suggestions for a new amp. I want something reliable with available parts. I almost bought a Fender but I read on this blog that the part situation with Fender isn't as reliable as it once was. I have my eye on an Ampeg BA112V2 but again, I'm a novice.
Can anyone help an old retired guy with a few pennies stuck aside for a little enjoyment to make a good choice on an amp?

I would try another repair shop if you can.

I have an MB112ii that I had the power supply board replaced in about 6 months ago. The board was 80 something dollars and the repair time was less than one hour. I walked out of there paying less than 150 total. I can't remember the exact price and I'm not at home to dig up the paperwork.

My problem was that one day it would not turn on. Push the power button and nothing would happen. There was no red glow around the button at all.

Yep, they are $87 from Full Compass, if it's the complete power amp PCB that is needed. It should be plug-and-play.
