I just added a dome tweeter to my GK microbass 1x12 combo. Very happy with the mod. It really helps bring the acoustic "air" out of my fretless Rob Allen MB2. I'll be using this bass and the GK with a bluegrass band and the tweeter seems to help make the bass more "acoustic" like. It adds that dash of natural finger noise, clarity, and such.
Not a doghouse, but WAY better for this application than my P bass.
