GK mb200 ultra light head?

What Schroeder cab is that underneath it? I'm looking for another cab.
Here's a photo of my MB200 with two Kovalcik Audio 112 Cabs (8 ohm, 250W, 98 dB SPL @ 1m each).
I like how it fits in my Stanley tool box along with my cables, straps, etc.
I've used the MB200 for electric bass, electric guitar (Strat), Martin acoustic guitar and Kala ukulele (both with K&K Sound Pickups). The preamp and DI sound excellent through my church's PA system. I no longer need my LR Baggs Para-Acoustic DI. With the contour switch "on," it provides that perfect mid-scoop curve for most acoustic instruments. I believe jazz guitarists should consider this over Evans, Henriksen, Acoustic Image, etc.

Just picked one up - awesome little amp!! Now that I'm using IEMs (top rack), I could almost do most gigs with just one of the 212s and the MB200...
Has anyone tried a 112MBX with their MB200?
I just purchased an MB500 to run with my pair of Bag End S15-Ds and am intrigued enough to consider replacing or supplanting my MBE150E-112 + 112MBX combo with an MB200 and my existing extension cab.

I am to receive a 112 MBX ext cab on monday. It's only rated for 100 watts, I don't expect much. But at 12 lbs it will be great for a quick rehearsal. I will post soon after receiving.
Please report back! I've even given thought to adding a second jack to the MBX and running a pair of them.

I'm using mine with a 115MBX. It sounds great. I've got a Neo 112-II on the way that I'm going to use.
I tried my MB200 into my MBX. Doesn't sound a whole lot different than my MBE150. Now running my MB200 into my GK Neo 112... that's a very different story. Big, deep, bold, etc. And lately my RB700-II is staying home and my small bar/pub rig is my MB200 into my GK Neo 212. Doesn't leave me tons of headroom, but if it's loud enough, how much extra do you really need?

It sounds just OK, good enough for a small rehearsal, or a coffee house gig.
The speaker did fartout at one point, but I was playing hard.
The cab has only one 1/4" output jack. No nameplate with specs, origin, serial number,etc. For being a very small metal cab...it does not rattle. 12lbs.
Handle on top, rubber feet, metal grill.

I bought it for coffee shop and small jazz gigs and I am so thrilled with it. The 12" cab is the perfect match IMHO and as I understand it has a 4 ohm speaker fitted so gets the full mojo from the amp.
I could not be more happy with the new purchase

Having owned one for a couple of months, I found a setting I really like (using a jazz bass), but I it's starting to distort/clip with gain at about 1 o' clock, and when I don't use contour I have more headroom (starts clipping at about 3 o'clock).
Could somebody please try this setting and tell my your results, and if it starts clipping earlier than with your usual setting?

Treble: 9:30
Hi mid: 3:30
Lo mid: 3:00
Bass: 10:00

Just picked up an MB200 this morning to go with my new-to-me Berg HT112 for smaller/corporate gigs and such. I brought the cab into the shop to test the head and was very impressed with the tone and sheer amount of volume I could get out of it. I wanted to get a 500 but availability is currently really limited and I "needed" a micro right now.
I compared with the LMIII and vastly preferred the GK.
Really? Why? I have the LMII and thinking of getting a different head...
I've not actually dialed in your settings but I too use a jazz bass with my MB112 combo and it seems a little odd to me that you use the contour, which reduces the mids and lifts the top and bass, and then you set your tone to lift up the mids and cut the top end.
FWIW, and I have only had mine for two days, so a total newb, but I use contour off and the tone pretty much flat with just a touch of lift in the low mid and a touch of cut on the treble.
FWIW I would have thought that contour off and tone set flat would be a better starting point. Just my two cents.
I haven't read every post in this thread, so maybe this has already been answered, but can you use the line out on the MB200 to drive an external power amp? Thanks
