GK NEO 212 Availability?

Is it just me or has the GK NEO 212 been scarce lately?
I started sniffing around for one about a month or more ago and suddenly they seem to be back ordered everywhere I look. The best guess was a 60 day delivery quote. Has anyone picked up one recently? Does anyone know why these were so readily available up until recently?

That would explain why they're not in stock. (RMC was the one that quoted me 60 days but didn't say why).

I thought this was a pretty solid unit and popular seller for them so I'll be curious to see what the latest version has to offer.

I wonder if they made it larger to stack under the new NEO 410, like what they did with the NEO 115... that'd suck for some of us if they did.

The old one matched the height with the 4x10, so you could stick it on its side on the top of a 4x10 (26.5" high to the 4x10's 26.5" wide)

Oh yeah...

But the depth is another story. They could have increased it for a perfect stacking scenario...

That's not too bad, really. But I'm sure the older models will start to see some demand in the used market...

i just got a me the neo 2x12 a few days ago. i wonder if i have one of the newer.what i first recognised that my had no "gallien krueger" nameplate on it,like all the pics from the web or the homepage.my just had a "GK" Logo and in the far left down corner a "NEO" nameplate.

i had the 4x12 neo before ànd i like the 2x12 far more.not just only because of the weight and dimensions.i think the sound ist much more on spot.i always had problems with the 4x12 an too much ear piercing buzzing.best cab i had so far.

anyway,does anybody know if mine in a "new" one?

Yes and no. Yours is the latest version on the market... but it's not the NEW new version that hasn't been shipped yet.

The one you have is identical to the old one in every way - it just has an updated look on the front, to match all of their new cabs.

The next version of the Neo 212 is going to be a different size, and it will also have that new GK logo plate like the one you have now.
