GK question

Hiya,

Im just wondering why the GK Fusion 550 is so much bigger than the MB Fusion? Arn't they practically the same head?

lol that didnt help unfortunately.

They seem to have the same specs, but the fusion 550 is like the size of an all-tube amp, and the mb fusion is tiny. how could they even fit the valves in there?

The MB fusion is a digital class amp, and doesn't require the big transformer and larger amp module inside the case that the Fusion 550 does.

The Fusion 550 also has the horn amp (G-K's Biamp). The Fusion is conventional power supply (long proven tech.) the MB is new generation digital switching power supplies.
