here's the TrueRTA test of it with the 100p cap for C4.

GREEN=bypassed VIOLET= Hi cut switch OFF(cemter position) YELLOW = 10n position BLUE= 33n position

so I guess that it's not bright after all.

I wouldn't mind a little less low end rolloff though.

For the low end, change C3 back to 1uF like we started with a loooong time ago.

BTW, The 800RB uses 0.22uF for that coupling capacitor.

I had a 220n in there at first but like it better with the 1u.

yep.
my favorite values are with the original 27p, a 1u for C3, a 33n for C16, and a 68n for C15. at least that's the way that i'm keeping mine. even with the 68n it's still has more than enough top end.

BTW, here's the hi cut switch RTA freq test with a 33n and a 68n of the switch. it looks pretty drastic on the graph but it's actually very subtle in all three positions when used thru an amp & cab:
