I am a bachelor for the next 4 days, so I have the opportunity to experiment into the night with my gear!
I ran my '68 P bass , with foam mute, into VT bass pedal , into 1987 GK800RB with the SVT setting, the Fat Tube, and the SVT setting, into the front of the GK, into a custom built cab with Eminence 15" Kappa Pro 15HLF 8 ohm.
It was friggin awesome !
It was phat, punchy , and quick. It was the best of both the GK and the Ampeg world. I will sleep smoothe tonight knowing my rig is great.
Also ran the same bass into VT, into Pignose B100VH, equally as good !!!!!
