GK's Flagship Cab???

Does anyone know which model cabs are GK's 'top-o-the-line" cabs? Hardly anyone I've seen are playing the RBH "artist series???" cabs - lots of neo's out there. GK's website looks as though they are pushing the RBH series w/ Flea and all that - why aren't they in the stores but the neo's are? I have been playing the SBX cabs(non-ported and also discontinued) for some time now but they are only 400w. Would like to move up in power handling, but can't find any RBH cabs to listen to. Any thoughts from the GK fan club?

IMO the NEO is a top-of-the-line cabinet line. Brian Beller uses a pair of NEO 412's. Very elite.

The RBX line, introduced in 1998, is kind of a dinosaur in comparison, similar to the SWR Goliath line and Eden XLT's. I see them on CL all the time for super cheap.

RBX? Or RBH? I thought the RBH was relatively a new line for GK.

RBH. I got RBH and MBX mixed up.

MBX are the newest cabs with ceramic drivers.

the neos are the top of the line and well worth the price, especially when you use the gc/mf discount coupons, i dont think they are making the mbx cabs anymore

OH YES! I was about 1 hour way from picking up a 4 ohm RBH410 when the lighter NEO412 came up. The 12's with the lighter weight got the nod, came from 15's so it was a shorter step. Still think about that cab now and then though..........

G-K makes their own speakers. Neos will continue to be made in the G-K China plant, this avoids the NEO tariffs imposed by China on raw neo material. Smart guy, RAG

I just checked out the sweetwater site and noticed they upped the prices on the gk neos, gc and mf havent yet but who knows

I have a pair of 410 NEOs and a pair of 410 SBX plus. I have no cab GAS right now.

yea me too, i have a couple of neo 2x12 for my mb8, they friggin kill!
