Instead of soldering the diodes together, I can also use two sockets so you can do each diode individually. Might be able to mix things up that way, but I thought this would be far better most people. Just takes a second to remove the diodes and put a new set in.

so if you had two sockets you could use two different diodes mixed together on one side of the switch, and a different blend on the other? Instead of just one type on each side?
