That orange SS is just like the car one of my co-workers had when I worked as a cook when I was 14-15. After work at 2 am we'd go out street racing in it. Good times.

The 4th and 5th pics caught my eye .... a 69 ElCamino and what looks like a 68 Z/28 next to it...... if that's a real Z versus a clone, it's worth some real money as there were only about 8,000 Z's made in 68, up from 602 built in 67.

Same for the Yenko Camaro in the next pic down...... worth dumb money if it's the real thing.

For those unaware, a Yenko Camaro was a car bought new from GM and sent to Don Yenko's dealership where they were heavily modified to make them race ready. Something like 201 Camaros in 1969 became a Yenko sYc.

Dana Chevrolet and Nickey Chevrolet also did the conversions, not as many that Yenko did. There were also Yenko Chevelles and Novas.

It's an MGBGT…that one is not stock. For the upright curious, the guy I bought my upright from told me he used to fit an upright into an MGBGT believe it or not; I was skeptical. I did manage a gig on upright hauling my upright in my MGB roadster with the top down one time.

Beside the fender flares (which I think look great) and the refin, what do you see? I'm curious. As I said I only had a super quick visit and didn't hang out to chat with any of the owners.

It's an MGB hatchback. At least that's what I call it. Definitely an MG, B, and a hatchback... might have had some special name.

I don't know if they quite qualify as a car, but here's the latest 'small' Citroen 'Ami' - I saw several of these being used as 1-passenger taxi in Syracuse (Syracusa), Sicily. I think they're cool because, well if anyone has ever driven anything much bigger around old Italian city streets you'll get it:

This past week i was in La Crosse, Wisconsin for the national Vintage Triumph Register convention (with my own TR6), around 160 Triumph cars of all models from the 1950s-1980. Here are a few of the more interesting cars i saw.

This would be the Yenko.

The stripes down the side of the car and the badges on the fender read Yenko, the headrests on the front seats should have a big sYc on them and I'd imagine a Yenko sticker or three on the air cleaner and valve covers. Should also be a Big Block car.

When I look more closely the front plate reads "YENKO (something)" as well

That car, and the Studebaker Avanti, are my 2 favorite classic American cars. I haven't ever owned either, unfortunately.

That Opel Manta was fun (manual 4 speed), but had engine problems after only 1 year.
At the time, My Dad owned the Celica parked behind it, (also manual), and I really preferred driving it!
(Although I think the Manta was much better looking.)
