Gold Tone MicroBass Talk

Picco Music Special Micro Scale Bass Strings
Coming soon:
Special metal strings made exclusively for Picco Music Micro Scale Bass customers.
Soft feel, great tight tone. Great alternative for acoustic Micro Scale Basses and the exclusive string for the solid body Stealth Bass coming in 2014.

I want, I want!

Then again, the pahoehoehoehoes are working out nicely, so I may just have to buy another micro.

It's still strung hybrid. Pahoehoe E and A and thundergut D and G. The sound is kinda uneven, and I haven't had a chance to play it through a real setup with proper EQ and whatnot. At home, I dial down the treble all the way and boost the bass almost all the way, and it's pretty close. Once I get a chance to see how it sounds in the rehearsal studio, I'll decide whether I want to change the D and G too. I'd rather not though cuz I'm obsessive about having minimal wraps around the post, and it takes months for that to happen with the pahoehoe D and G.

Yes - my own offering will be a micro scale solid body electric with magnetic pickups that we are having custom built. My acoustic electric offering is from Gold Tone. There will be more beyond that in the future. Assuming people respond of course. :)

Looks like the stealth will have adjustable bridge saddles too. Very interesting. Can we ask what the scale length is.
