I recently got a double bow case from Gollihur so I could take a german and french bow to rehearsals. I’m practicing doubling and don’t want to be without a fallback in case I get in trouble. Their case was the only (or maybe, the first) that I found that looked like it could legitimately carry 2 of either type of bow (or in my situation, one of each).
Until now my favorite single bow cases are the String Emporium’s house brand. The Gollihur case does a great job fitting both types of bow, and it is constructed very similarly to my trusty SE cases. It also fits into the bow pocket of my bass case (without much room to apartment but enough that it isn’t a struggle).
I don’t think I’ll use the Gollihur case all time but I will use it any time I want to bring 2 bows along. It’s a nice option.
