SPECIALTY: All luthiery: setups, repairs, modifications, and now getting into building

OTHER: 2001 graduate of The Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery. Probably more expensive and not as fast as the service department in the average store, but his service and the quality of his work are top notch. Definitely worth it.

Conshohocken, PA

Jack has done a complete fret level and crown on 2 of my guitars and my MIM Jazz, and a setup on my EBMM SR5HH. He also repaired a tenor banjo for me when I knocked it over and snapped off the headstock. In each case, the quality of the work was excellent, the price was reasonable, and the turnaround time was quick.

Helped me early on with setups on my J and 5-string fretless basses...getting low action on both and that fretless mwah sound...also replaced a noisy input jack on my fretless and knocked a high fret on my J back into place. He's also done great work wih fret leveling/polishing on my Strat.

600 Hilton Rd Ferndale, MI 48220 (248) 545-5460
You will have to wait he is backed up most of the time. His prices are reasonable considering who he is. If you don't know who he is you need to ask somebody;);). I think I saw Bob Babbitt in the parking lot in the back where I usually go into his little shop. I'm not sure about that though.
