Good Combo Amps

I'm looking for a new combo amp. I can spend $500-$600, and possibly $700. I want one that has a good tone. Also, could I run a SansAmp Bass Driver DI through a combo? Cause I really want to get one of these if I can run it through my combo.

yes you can use a bass driver in front of any amp. check out the combo amp thread linked in the faq sticky at the top of the page. it's about pros and cons, but contains a lot of combo amp reccomendations.

That Combo Amp Megathread is a real blockbuster. I'll never look at combo amps the same way ever again. A must read for prospective combo buyers.

You are just out of the price range for the really good combos from Eden and Peavey. I suggest you save up a few more dollars and get either the BAM from Peavey, or Metro from Eden. They seem to be going for $700-800 these days.
