Double Bass Good etude for college auditions?

I have been putting together the last of my music for college auditions. I notice most schools require an étude and I haven't wooed on a étude since middle school. Any good suggestions for a standard advanced étude? I'm playing the first movement of the kousevitsky, the bottesini elegy, the prelude to the first cello suite, Beethoven 9 and Mozart 41 so something in that talent range would be ideal.

I've been trying to learn the Intro to Cello Ste.1 (Bach) for a while. Playing on EB, key of G at the 12th fret has been as adventure in finger gymnastics. I think if you can pull it off on DB, go for it. It is a great piece and challenging.

Thanks, yeah it's really not that bad once you have it memorized. There's a couple of spots that aren't as fluent as I would like them but it will get there by febuary. Any étude suggestions?

I actually did Simandl's 11th. Not very hard, but it can be a good show off.

I also performed the first and second movement of Vivaldi's 5th cello concerto.

In which simandl book? I have the white 30 etudes but I also have a blue book, 30 studies or something.

30 Etudes. Allegro scherzando, 6/8 176 bpm to the eighth.

I know Juilliard (according to their website) will take ANY étude from Storch-Hrabe Vol. 2
I have the book.

I think I'm going to keep it simple and go either bille or simandl 30 etudes. Not sure which one though.
