Hello, my name is Dion Antony and I'm new to this wonderful forum. Let me begin with a brief introduction:
I'm a 44 year old male bedroom playing bassist living in the UK. I started playing at the age of 14 in the early 80's. Influences tended to steer towards heavy metal and soft rock until the mid 80's when it became Duran Duran, Hall & Oats, Tears for Fears and Bowie. As the 80's drew to a close, I heard Jaco for the first time and subsequently gave up playing all together. After 20 years, I'm now more mature and less insecure and decided to purchase a fretlesss Acoustic Bass (Dean). My hearing has not disappeared but my dexterity and range has, so I'm on a new adventure. I'm currently looking at purchasing a Fender Jazz Fretless and a combo amp that would compliment it, if you have any suggestions then please post.
