Good idea, bad idea?

I know where the simpson reference is from, but how do the fallout boys and the simpsons connect?

Wikipedia said:
The band was nameless for their first two shows. At the end of their second show, they asked the audience to give them a name. One audience member suggested "Fallout Boy",[5] a reference to the sidekick of the character Radioactive Man from The Simpsons.[6] On January 25, 2009, Fall Out Boy would play the theme ending on The Simpsons.

Get the Hellfish tat, that's a fine funny choice. But what the H. E. double hockey sticks were you thinking with this:
??!!??!!!???????

I ended up sleeping with a tattoo artist my freshman semester, and we got really drunk afterwards. At some point I got a tattoo of Woodstock with no recollection of getting it. I'm assuming I picked Woodstock because Eric from that 70s Show got the same, but on his ass. I really don't know though, but it seems like a likely guess...

Good idea, bad placement. I hate the single tattoo on the bicep thing, it looks like someone gave up on a sleeve. Get it on your calf.

lowsound

Well on my left arm (where I plan on getting a full sleeve) I'm getting the solar system with the sun at my shoulder and pluto by my wrist, complete with stars and sea monsters in between. I found an artist to do it, its just getting the money together.

Since I don't own a pair of shorts, but I'll go shirtless every now and then, it makes more sense for me to put it on my bicep. I plan on getting another tattoo on my right arm, (tricep, right above my elbow) of a star thats says Tennessee and over it "Ain't No Place I'd Rather Be" So yeah, I plan on getting a couple of more tattoos on my right arm with the Flying Hellfish tattoo. Just not a full on sleeve like my other arm will be.

sorry for crapping on your simpsons know.i just hate fallout bot and i just link the two,

If you're talking about the band, then yes, I hate them too. I finally figured out it was Fallout Boy from the simpson.

Also, the band is Fall Out Boy, because Pete Wentz knew he;d get raped by Simpson fans if he dared....
(S)he wasn't. I felt like a piece of used meat after the weekend considering every time we slept together, I had to sleep on the couch afterwards. Funny stuff.

Reminds me of a friend...:atoz:

I couldnt help but to reply.
It's your skin...do as you please. But since you asked, at least consider this.

I was really into Harleys in the 80's.

Had a brand new Flame Glide and thought I was gonna be a Harley freak forever.
I didn't get a Harley tattoo.
Why? Cause I knew that it would be there FOREVER.

Now what a schmuck would I feel like today having to say "Er, Uh..well I don't have a Harley" every time someone asked me !?!?

19 year old girls get a tramp stamp that says "I'm hot" or whatever.
Whats that gonna look like when she is 50+ & wrinkly? Classy? ...well...not for me to say..but....hmmmm

I am not criticizing anyone's choices, just giving advise on thinking ahead.

Ask yourself: Do you feel so strongly about anything that you want to have it on you forever?

If you do, more power to you.

I have a friend who is a damn fine tatoo artist. Frank will not tattoo certain things on people because he knows they will regret it. Like "F-U" on their knuckles. Yeah, real kool if you're 15 years old.

Just something to consider. I do like the Chinese Dragon art.
Some of it is beautiful artwork.

Good luck !!!
Cheers, Dave

Got my first tattoo at 18, couple more since then. I'm 38 now and the only advice I can give to anyone thinking about getting tattooed is, if you're going to commit, make sure it at the very least it has a good story to tell. Styles will come and go, sharp lines will blur... the best tattoos will always be the ones with a good story that lasts a lifetime.
