Greetings friends, it's nice to be here. I'm not new to the bass, but I've finally started to take it seriously. I'm taking lessons on Bassbuzz.com. I like how it's structured and that I'm playing music right away. I'm a short scale guy, with a MIM Mustang and I just picked up a MII Jaguar, that I will be taking on the road with me. I'm a corporate pilot, and have plenty of time sitting around the hotel room to practice. I also have a Fender P/J bass and a Peavey Foundation.
The short scales are getting the most use. With my little T-Rex arms, the short scales are comfortable and easy to play. I still have the $90 Rogue bass I bought more than 10 years ago. It lives in the garage with the drum kits. I'm also learning to play the drums. It's all been fun and I really enjoy it. I'm confident I will learn quite a lot from this forum. Hopefully, in 6-7 years when I retire, I'll be good enough to gig, in my old age.
Cheers,
Tony
