No, most I've done so far is just jam with a friend. Plus, I just moved to a new city so I'll probably be playing by myself for awhile.
OK. Peavey's are usually good amps and with a 12" speaker, low-end will definitely sound good. Note I've never owned one, I'm going on feedback from fellow bassists and guitar-playing buddies.
The only issue I can see you having with this amp is power, when you start playing in bands. For solid-state amps, my personal (and limited) experience tells me that when playing with 2 guitars+1 drummer, 350w is a minimum. Depends on the amp tho, so others might chime in with a different perspective. I don't have any experience with tube amps, but I'm guessing that a 100w all-tube head is largely enough.
