Good USB Microphones

Ok, so i'm looking for a good microphone to plug into my computer....only problem is that i have a mac, so i think to conserve the money i'm moving for a USB mic.
The one that I have been looking at is the Blue Microphones Snowball Microphone.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Bump for a good question. I am also considering buying a Snowball and they just came out with a cheaper version. Has anyone tracked bass with the snowball? I have no need for vocals it just needs to be able to pickup a backing track and bass from my amp.

Good for podcasting and similar stuff, not sure it could handle really critical recordings, though. --Kent

this would ultimately be for reference purposes. I play with a guy who plays acoustic and I wanted a way to record our practices and store it on my computer for less than $150. I am leaning towards the Blue Snowball based on reviews and recordings I have pulled off of YouTube. I will check out the Samson though prior to making any rash purchases. So thanks for the input. If I get one I will post a review on this thread.

Right now, it's between the Samson and Blue mics for me. I haven't read much but from what I've read the Samson seems to sound better. I would be interested in reading some more reviews.
